This position performs daily routine maintenance tasks that help provide a superior golf course, pristine facilities, and surrounding grounds. Duties include mowing tees, fairways, approaches and roughs as assigned; operating all cleaning equipment such as tractor mounted blowers, self contained blowers, and vacuum machines; operating golf course specific machines such as greens, tee, and fairway aerifier, as well as hydro jet aerifier; assists in application of insecticide, fungicides, and herbicides; and performs cleaning duties to include cleaning shops, tennis courts, restrooms, driveways, roads, club house, and surrounding grounds. Knowledge of agronomy and turf grass management practices experience a plus. Requires thorough working knowledge of basic landscaping equipment and safe use of all, including small power and hand tools. Must have experience with automated Rainbird irrigation system. Requires a limited knowledge of the game of golf. High School diploma, or equivalent, is preferred. PGA accredited groundskeeper classes or internship is a plus.
